nabelle Bott, known to friends
as Ina, was the widow of Air Force Major John Bott and the mother of three
children and six grandchildren. She had been a social columnist for 26 years,
a feature story writer, and restaurant and play reviewer. Ms. Bott was a charter
member of the Romance Writers of America, a past member of the National Press
Women, and a member of the Press Club of Houston. Although born and raised in
Denver, Colorado, Ina Bott traveled throughout the U.S., Japan, and Newfoundland.
She resided in Houston, Texas until she passed away in August, 2000. Ms. Bott
authored Poems and Prayers of a Lifetime and co-authored Who Dunnit? with Tina
and Manny Cafeo.
